Paediatric Physiotherapist

"Are you interested in developing a career in children’s physiotherapy? We have a band 6 vacancy in a supportive team of friendly, highly experienced Physiotherapists working in Enfield Health Children’s Specialist Services. We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Band 6 Physiotherapist who is able to demonstrate specialist skills in working with children. We will also consider a development post for a band 5 with basic physiotherapy rotational experience who would like to develop their skills in this area, starting with us at band 5 and through training and support acquire the competencies for band 6 paediatric physiotherapy.

This is a community role is based at St Michaels Primary Care Centre with yearly rotations with three band 6 colleagues. You will be working within a dynamic multi professional team comprised of Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Dietetics, Specialist Nurses and Speech and Language Therapy. The post offers opportunities to develop specialist skills in both areas of musculoskeletal and neurodisability, in a range of community settings including clinics, mainstream and special schools and the patient’s home.

There is a comprehensive training structure for our band 5 and band 6’s on rotation, and your professional development will be well supported by a team of Band 7 staff and the Clinical Lead.
