Our values and quality improvement are at the heart of everything we do, please consider joining us.
Are you a dynamic, self-directed clinician who feels passionately about delivering holistic care to ensure that patients reach their full potential and the best outcomes possible?
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic, experienced team working closely with acute and community partners to support early discharge from hospital and providing short term therapy input in our community inpatient units. You will need to be prepared to work flexibly in a truly MDT environment, with many opportunities for developing your problem solving and clinical reasoning skills.
Our motto “supporting healthy lives” is where we look to provide a holistic service addressing physical and mental health needs to promote a healthy rehabilitation. We put patients at the heart of what we do; maintaining a constant focus on what their individual goals are, helping them to achieve what matters the most.
We are looking to recruit a an experienced Band 7 Occupational therapist for our Rehabilitation Ward, Magnolia . Together, with our sister ward( Capetown ) on Chase farm site, it provides the opportunity to further evolve integrated, partnership working and build on current pathways to provide a truly integrated service to the population of Enfield.
The ward currently provides general rehabilitation for those recovering from acute illness. Although this will be the main base for the role there will be an opportunity to work across our rehabilitation wards/services.
You will manage a complex caseload, assessing and developing treatment programmes for patients.
You will be the lead OT for the unit.
We work closely with our community therapy colleagues with a common focus of smoothing the transition for patients from hospital to home. You will be encouraged to forge links and participate in peer review with Band 7 therapists in the community teams with the potential to develop rotational opportunities across services for therapy staff.
In return we will invest in your career and personal development. We have a well established supervision structure and appraisal system in place.
Don’t delay, contact us today.

Applications from job seekers who require Tier 2 sponsorship to work in the UK are welcome and will be considered alongside all other applications. However, non-EEA candidates may not be appointed to a post if a suitably qualified, experienced and skilled EU/EEA candidate is available to take up the post as the employing body is unlikely, in these circumstances, to satisfy the resident labour market test. UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) requires employers to complete this test to show that no suitably qualified EEA or EU worker can fill the post. For further information please visit the UKVI website. From 6 April 2017, Tier 2 skilled worker applicants, applying for entry clearance into the UK, must present a criminal record certificate from each country they have resided continuously or cumulatively for 12 months or more in the past 10 years. Adult dependants (over 18 years old) will also be subject to this requirement. Guidance can be found here Criminal Records Checks for Overseas Applicants.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
