Outpatient Manager and Liaison Nursing Team Lead - Band 8a
“St Anns Eating Disorder Service provides eating disorder assessment and treatment BEH, C&I and ELFT NHS trusts for adults. With a population of over 5 million people, we are one of the largest eating disorders providers in Mainland UK. We are seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic and ambitious manager to join our team in the post of Eating Disorders Outpatient Manager and Liaison Lead. The post will be based in St Anns Hospital.
Your role will be to work closely with Medical, Psychology, Nursing and administrative staff to ensure treatment pathways is clear as well as to provide expert clinical nursing knowledge.
You will be responsible for the bed management of the inpatient ward in collaboration with the ward manager.
You will have line management, budgetary and performance responsibilities. You will lead on service improvement projects to raise quality and drive productivity while maintaining operational delivery.
The role demands excellent prioritisation skills, problem-solving abilities and a collaborative approach to ensure the smooth and efficient running of these three services. We are looking for someone to provide clear leadership and cohesion to a highly specialised area of mental health care.
It is a permanent, full time position, reporting to the Service Manager for Eating Disorders. This is a demanding position, but an exciting one which will offer many opportunities for career progression.”
