Enfield Therapy Service
Clinical/Counselling Psychologist – Band 7 – full time
Applications are welcomed for this post from qualified and experienced Clinical or Counselling Psychologists. Applicants are required to be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council as a Clinical / Counselling Psychologist.
The Enfield Therapy service has a vacancy for a psychologist within its specialist Psychological Therapies stream for patients with complex presentations. The Enfield Therapy service is going through a reconfiguration as part of the adult care pathway review and this provides an exciting opportunity for a psychologist to join the team to help to develop new psychological group provision within the Recovery and Enablement Track which is based in the locality teams as well as provide individual therapy within the Psychological services. The Enfield adult care pathway provides a multi-disciplinary approach with psychologically driven packages of care focussed on recovery, encompassing: care coordination; psychological therapy interventions and social care and psychiatric interventions to adults diagnosed with complex mental health difficulties.
The Enfield Complex care team has three main streams – the PTSD stream, the Personality Disorders stream and the Psychological Services stream. The service aims to promote excellence in the provision of psychological therapies and psychologically informed interventions through direct work with patients and indirect work through supervision of junior qualified and non qualified staff. The post offers excellent opportunities to further develop specialist assessment, therapy and consultation skills with challenging and complex presentations
The Team Manager, Consultant Psychologist and Consultant Psychiatrist are responsible for service delivery. Professional and Clinical supervision is provided by senior Psychologists with specialist training and experience.
