Barnet, Enfield and Haringey Mental Health NHS Trust is responsible for providing mental health services for people of all ages across the London Boroughs of Barnet, Enfield and Haringey, as well as providing some specialist services across the whole of North London and beyond. Since January 2011, the Trust also provides adult and children’s community health services in Enfield, following the transfer of Enfield Community Services from NHS Enfield.

Barnet, Enfield and Haringey NHS Trust wishes to appoint a skilled, approachable and motivated Locum Consultant CAMHS Psychiatrist, to join our current workforce in our Adolescent In-Patient Unit, The Beacon Centre to help take forward the development of our service.
This is an established post and the successful applicant will join a fellow consultant (who is the lead clinician) and an experience multidisciplinary team.
The Beacon Centre is an established 16 bedded, Tier 4 Adolescent inpatient Unit within the London North Central Sector. As per commissioning arrangement we also admit young people from further afield. The Unit has undergone a CQC inspection in September 2017, and received a good rating in all domains.
This post is fixed term for a period of 6 months whilst we await Royal College approval to recruit substantively.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
