Staff Nurse (Beacon Centre) - Band 5
Are you wanting to make a difference in the life of a young person?
The Beacon Centre is a specialist 16 bedded inpatient general adolescent unit in Edgware, treating young people between the ages of 13 up to 18 with acute and severe forms of mental illness. It is a nationally commissioned service, although the unit prioritises young people from the North Central London area. There is a strong emphasis on co-production in the unit, as well as a programme of continuous quality improvement. The unit is rated Good by the CQC and is part of the Specialist Services Division within Barnet, Enfield and Haringey Mental Health Trust.
We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic band 5 Staff Nurse to join the nursing team at The Beacon Centre. There are excellent training opportunities available with a structured development programme, as well as a range of clinical specialist training such as DBT and QI training. The successful candidate should be self-aware and resilient, with a desire to provide quality services that enable and empower young people.
