Technical Instructor

Intermediate Care Team –TI Band 4

Would you like a career in health care? Do you enjoy working with multi-professional teams and have the ability to engage with others? Are you a good communicator? Can you influence others? If so, this might be the role for you.

 The role will involve working with patients and other health care professionals to provide a holistic approach to patient care, thereby facilitating early discharge from hospital, prevent hospital admissions and aid patients to stay independent in their own home for as long as possible. The post holder will have the opportunity to; lead and implement programmes for own patient caseload using own skills and initiative, undertake standardised assessments ,reviewing/adjusting equipment as necessary and carrying out other designated tasks - doing observations like BP, temp etc. and reporting back to qualified staff in support of the service delivery . 

CPD and personal development is well supported and there will be the opportunity to undertake further training to develop skills as well as regular in house supervision and training, to develop your skills and expertise.

Applicants should be well-organised, possess leadership skills and be highly motivated to support the team. A progressive attitude is essential in order to support continual service improvement.
