BEH manages the renowned North London Forensic Services (NLFS), rated as 'Outstanding' by the CQC. This service treats and cares for people within the criminal justice system who have mental health conditions. We have also been appointed as the lead provider of forensic mental health services across North London managing the devolved New Models of care budget of £170m from 2018/19. NLFS delivers mental health care across some of the prisons and provides mental health services as HM Young Offenders Institutions in Aylesbury.
We also provide one of the largest eating disorder services in England, as well as drug and alcohol services and mental health liaison services in North Middlesex University Hospitals Trust.

Band 7 Clinical or Counselling Psychologists in Pain Management
We are a large provider of integrated mental health services in Barnet, Enfield and Haringey and also provide community health services in Enfield. We employ 3,000 staff and serve a population of 1.2 million. We operate services from five main inpatient sites and a further 25 sites in the community. The ambition is for BEH to be an organisation that promotes recovery, social inclusion, and community integration to maximise resilience. We call this Enablement.
We have an exciting opportunity for 2 Band 7 Clinical or Counselling Psychologists to join our new multidisciplinary pain team (MDT) based in the London Borough of Enfield at the recently developed Chase Farm Hospital site. The MDT includes pain psychologists, consultants, physiotherapists and specialist nurse. You will be part of a team committed to improving the care pathway for people living with musculoskeletal pain by developing collaborative work with our partners across the Trust and across NCL STP
You will work closely with the Band 8A psychologist, contributing to the outpatient group pain management programme and offering psychological assessment and therapeutic treatment for people with persistent pain. The postholder will be part of a large borough-wide psychological team with opportunities for regular CPD and training. A background in physical health and/or pain management would be an advantage.
