Maintenance Tradesperson (Plumber)– Band 4

 The Estates Department provides comprehensive maintenance, repair and installation service of the buildings, grounds, engineering services, and associated equipment throughout the Trust.

 You must have served a recognised Mechanical or Building Services apprenticeship and gained a wide experience in building engineering services and plant maintenance with a BTEC HNC level or City and Guilds plus relevant post apprenticeship training or equivalent experience.

 You must hold a current UK (manual) driving licence and reside within An Hour normal travel time to fulfill on-call duties.

 The role is Monday – Friday with participation in an emergency 1 in 4 on-call  rota plus opportunities for overtime and weekend working

The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
