Barnet, Enfield and Haringey Mental Health NHS Trust is responsible for providing mental health services for people of all ages across the London Boroughs of Barnet, Enfield and Haringey, as well as providing some specialist services across the whole of North London and beyond. Since January 2011, the Trust also provides adult and children’s community health services in Enfield, following the transfer of Enfield Community Services from NHS Enfield.

This is an exciting opportunity for highly motivated individuals to work as part of a multidisciplinary team in developing our new Locked Rehabilitation service which will be situated in Somerset Villa (as a new ward) on the Chase Farm site in Enfield. Somerset Villa is to become a 13 bedded unit offering rehabilitation assessment & treatment. The service is an integral part of the local adult mental health care pathway and works in partnership with key stakeholders. The service will offer a specialist multidisciplinary team who will provide intensive input, working with service users in developing individualised care programmes in preparation for successful step down to a range of accommodation & supported housing in the community. The principles of co-production and delivery of 'Values Based Practice' are key to the delivery of this service.
We are looking for registered mental health nurses (students due to qualify in 2018 may also apply), who enjoy working in a dynamic and challenging environment. You would remain focused on enabling and empowering staff to deliver high quality patient care & focussed outcomes. You must be able to work flexibly and efficiently within the MDT and have excellent communication skills.
You must possess the clinical skills and competence necessary for caring for this group of service users.
