Integrated Therapy Lead Band 8A

Community rehabilitation and stroke services covering inpatients and community based services.

If you want to be part of a huge transformational project and lead areas of the change programme to deliver the Trusts ambition of being the Enfield Out of Hospital provider of choice then we have a career defining opportunity for you.

This is an exciting new therapy post, open to therapists who have rehabilitation experience in neurology and core rehabilitation. This is a leadership role but will still continue to have some clinical input. This role will involve supporting the exciting transformation programme for community services and will require change management skills to support the integration of services.

The postholder will develop integrated pathways across services both internally and externally ensuring a seamless service for the patients and their carers to ensure the patient achieves optimum outcomes. The common focus will be smoothing the transition for patients from hospital to home and to actively participate and lead therapy changes when the two inpatient units become one.

We are looking to develop rotational posts and rotas across inpatient and community services and possibly across neighbouring boroughs to provide a responsive flexible workforce.

Our motto “supporting healthy lives” is where we look to provide a holistic service addressing physical and mental health needs to promote a healthy rehabilitation. We put patients at the heart of what we do; maintaining a constant focus on what their individual goals are, helping them to achieve what matters the most.

If you are a dynamic, self-directed clinician who feels passionately about leading the development of a truly integrated service then we want to hear from you.

In return we will invest in your career and personal development. We have a well-established supervision structure and appraisal system in place.

Don’t delay, contact us today.

Applicant requirements

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.

Applications from job seekers who require Tier 2 sponsorship to work in the UK are welcome and will be considered alongside all other applications. However, non-EEA candidates may not be appointed to a post if a suitably qualified, experienced and skilled EU/EEA candidate is available to take up the post as the employing body is unlikely, in these circumstances, to satisfy the resident labour market test. UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) requires employers to complete this test to show that no suitably qualified EEA or EU worker can fill the post. For further information please visit the UKVI website. From 6 April 2017, Tier 2 skilled worker applicants, applying for entry clearance into the UK, must present a criminal record certificate from each country they have resided continuously or cumulatively for 12 months or more in the past 10 years. Adult dependants (over 18 years old) will also be subject to this requirement. Guidance can be found here Criminal Records Checks for Overseas Applicants.

This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
