Barnet, Enfield and Haringey Mental Health NHS Trust is responsible for providing mental health services for people of all ages across the London Boroughs of Barnet, Enfield and Haringey, as well as providing some specialist services across the whole of North London and beyond. Since January 2011, the Trust also provides adult and children’s community health services in Enfield, following the transfer of Enfield Community Services from NHS Enfield.

Staff Nurse - Registered Nurse (adult registration required):
We are seeking to recruit highly motivated Staff Nurses to work within a friendly and high performing multi-disciplinary team.
Magnolia Ward is a community based inpatient unit providing care for 28 patients. Its prime role is to prevent patient’s admission to acute hospital and to provide physical rehabilitation.
The patients typically present with a range of simple to complex needs as a result of a variety of conditions, such as progressive and non-progressive neurological conditions, falls, palliative care, orthopaedics and other multifactorial conditions.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate strong communication skills and to manage a workload within a busy environment. You will need to have experience of working in a care environment and demonstrate knowledge of the core principles of care.
Candidates will need to be flexible to the needs of the unit and have respect for the different values, cultures and beliefs of patients. You will assist in the facilitation of innovative and evidence-based nursing practice.
The unit promotes quality care through evidence-based practice and a commitment to supportive learning. You will have opportunities to regularly undertake CPD activities, including in-service and external training.
Regular appraisals will be undertaken using the KSF structure. Informal visits are encouraged.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
