The Mental Health Services for Older People (MHSOP) Inpatient Therapies Team is recruiting!
We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Band 5 Occupational Therapist to join the therapy team working across the 3 acute wards in Chase Farm Hospital for patients over the age of 65 with dementia and functional illness living in the boroughs of Barnet, Enfield and Haringey.
The Inpatient Therapies Team provides specialist assessment such as MOHOST and PALS, carefully planned interventions and a varied therapeutic group/1:1 programme. The team work in a solution focused, person centered way and support the wider MDT with the patients journey including planning for discharge from the ward.
Our friendly and supportive team consists of Occupational Therapists, Technical Instructors, Music Therapists and an Art therapist, additionally working closely alongside our physiotherapy colleagues. The team is committed to providing on-going opportunities for professional development, including the preceptorship programme for new graduates. We also have a robust supervision structure in place.
