Stroke Rehabilitation Physiotherapist 1.0wte (Fixed term Band 6 )
Our Community Stroke rehabilitation team in Enfield is looking for a band 6 physiotherapist with either proven stroke rehab skills or the motivation and drive to develope your stroke skills. The postholder would work within an established team of physiotherapists , Occupational therapists, Speech and language therapist and rehabilitation assistants . We also work closely with our stroke Navigator , commissioned from Attend and social service colleagues, who provide enablement workers.
We see patients with newly diagnosed strokes, providing early supported discharge to HASU patients and community rehab to the patients discharged from local stroke inpatient beds.
We also see patients with residual stroke symptoms who may require review for some further multidisciplinary input, by self-referral or GP referral.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic clinician, keen to work with us who may have had some previous stroke experience and also possibly experience of community working . Most importantly to be passionate about making a difference to patients and their families.
In return we can provide flexible work options, support for CPD and opportunities for personal development. You will be part of The Adult Community Therapies Service which includes Domiciliary Physiotherapy, Adult SLT, Dietetics and Bone health and Fracture Liaison .
