Enfield Community Services (a division of Barnet, Enfield & Haringey Mental Health Trust) has embarked on an ambitious new phase of growth, innovation and development. This post has been created to strengthen our new divisional structure for community services and will provide an opportunity for the successful candidate to work innovatively with our staff, our partners and commissioners to transform services to meet the challenges of an evolving NHS as well as being the out of hospital provider of choice.
The post holder will use their expertise to foster new ways of collaboration working across health and social care to develop integrated care pathways aimed at transforming services and improving outcomes for patients.

About the Trust, and Enfield Community Health
BEH is a multiple award-winning, combined mental health and community Trust providing local, regional and national healthcare services. We are one of the largest employers in North London with over 3000 staff delivering a range of mental health and community services to a population of over one million.
In Enfield, we provide a range of services for young people, adults and older people. This includes a full range of adult community health services and some child health services.
The successful candidate appointed to the role of Head of Nursing (HN) will work in partnership with the Managing Director and the divisions leadership team to ensure the effective and safe management of the division. This will include supporting the development of new partnerships, pathways and service models.
As a key member of the Enfield Community Services leadership team the successful applicant will ensure effective integration of nursing and clinical governance throughout the Division whilst leading on the development of nursing policies, implementing evidence based practice and contributing further to the knowledge base by evaluation of practice and the implementation of innovation.
In this role you would be expected to have an overview of quality across the services, reporting on learning from serious untoward incidents and complaints to the Division and leading in the improvement of the patient experience.
