Deputy Ward Manager (Interim/Secondment opportunity) Band 6

Haringey Inpatient Services are in the process of a major improvement drive. In the next 12 months, our inpatient wards will be moving to brand new, purpose-built accommodation.

Fairlands ward is a 19-bed female acute ward that provides care to adults aged from 16-65 years who have been diagnosed as having acute and/or enduring mental health problems who cannot be cared for at home or in the community.

We are looking for a committed and compassionate Band 6 Charge Nurses to work on Fairlands ward as an interim/secondment opportunity.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on an all-female ward that strives to provide high quality, service user-centered care. Fairlands ward is in the process of applying the “Safewards” model and will also be working with service users participating in the national ODESSI trial evaluating Peer Supported Open Dialogue.

Successful candidates will benefit from regular clinical and professional supervision, as well as working with a supportive management team.
