We have also been appointed as the lead provider of forensic mental health services across North London managing the devolved New Models of care budget of £170m from 2018/19. NLFS delivers mental health care across some of the prisons and provides mental health services as HM Young Offenders Institutions in Aylesbury.
We also provide one of the largest eating disorder services in England, as well as drug and alcohol services and mental health liaison services in North Middlesex University Hospitals Trust.

Service Manager - Band 8b
An opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and enthusiastic Service Manager to join our team in Specialist Services. The post holder will have responsibility for the operational management of the Adult Eating Disorders Service and Tier 4 CAMHS.
St Ann’s Eating Disorders Service is nationally recognised and provides a comprehensive range of treatments including inpatient (Phoenix Ward - 20 beds), outpatient and day patient (6 spaces) to female and male patients with eating disorders, aged 18 and above. The outpatient service is one of the largest eating disorder outpatient services in the country, serving those who live in North Central and North East London. Phoenix Ward is accredited by the CCQI Quality Network for Eating Disorders (QED) and has a CQC rating of Good. The Eating Disorders Service is based at St Ann’s hospital and the inpatient ward will be moving to a new purpose-built ward on the hospital site this August.
The Beacon Centre, located at Edgware Community Hospital, is a Tier 4 CAMHS inpatient general adolescent unit, which has 16 beds for young people aged 13-17. The aim of the unit is to provide acute care for young people experiencing a mental health crisis and this is achieved through the multi-disciplinary working of a team of dedicated and committed professionals and an ethos of quality improvement. The Beacon Centre is known for providing a caring environment and taking an individualised approach to each young person’s treatment. The Beacon Centre is accredited by the CCQI Quality Network for inpatient CAMHS (QNIC) and has a CQC rating of Good.
The post-holder will have a commitment to innovation and quality improvement and ensure that high levels of service user and carer engagement and co-production are central to the development of the services. The Service Manager receives support and line management from the Senior Service Lead.
