Barnet, Enfield and Haringey Mental Health NHS Trust is responsible for providing mental health services for people of all ages across the London Boroughs of Barnet, Enfield and Haringey, as well as providing some specialist services across the whole of North London and beyond. Since January 2011, the Trust also provides adult and children’s community health services in Enfield, following the transfer of Enfield Community Services from NHS Enfield.

We are seeking a full time Locum Consultant who will provide clinical leadership for the Haringey Central Locality Team based at St Ann’s Hospital. The Central Locality Team works closely with the Haringey Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Team.
The post holder will act as Responsible Clinician and be involved in all aspects of service development in Haringey and the wider organization.
A CQC inspection in 2019 rated the Trust as “good” for the first time, reflecting the dynamism and drive of the developments of the past few years. Colleagues joining the Trust at this point will have opportunity to contribute and shape the service during an exciting period of change and consolidation.
This post is for 6 months pending Royal College approval to recruit substantively. The post holder will be encouraged to apply for the substantive post following the locum period.
