Barnet Enfield and Haringey Mental Health Trust is a multiple award-winning, combined mental health and community Trust providing local, regional and national healthcare services. BEH manages the renowned North London Forensic Services (NLFS), rated as 'Outstanding' by the CQC. This service treats and cares for people within the criminal justice system who have mental health conditions. We have also been appointed as the lead provider of forensic mental health services across North London managing the devolved New Models of care budget of £170m from 2018/19. NLFS delivers mental health care across some of the prisons and provides mental health services as HM Young Offenders Institutions in Aylesbury.

We also provide one of the largest eating disorder services in England, as well as drug and alcohol services and mental health liaison services in North Middlesex University Hospitals Trust.

CAMHS  Practitioner  (Access) -  Band 7  

We are very happy to be able to offer a Fixed term (1 year) position for a Band 7 CAMHS Mental Health Practitioner. We are looking for somebody to work in our Access team, triaging referrals and conducting assessments of young people and their families. There is also scope to undertake short term (6 session) interventions in conjunction with our HEWS team.

We are looking for a qualified professional with CAMHS experience who can demonstrate the skills and experience required to provide high quality assessments.   We offer a fun and supportive environment in a service where opportunities to further your career happen often and you will be encouraged to take advantage of them.

There may be scope to discuss a permanent position at the end of the year if things go well. The Trust will support flexible working hours where appropriate.

 The successful applicant will be joining an extremely supportive, committed and dynamic service.

The post holder must be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), Royal College of Nursing or other equivalent professional agency.
